Mike Duley the Guide I grew up fishing with my dad. He started teaching me the art and science of flyfishing at age 5. In the family boat on lakes or off shore, we fished up and down the west coast. The High Sierras, my summer playground, is where I honed my flyfishing skills on brown, rainbow and golden trout. In 1970 at age 24, I moved to Oregon. Fishing became my way of life. Hopping over rocks and floating rivers in pursuit chrome bright steelhead, salmon and wild trout is why I settled here. I managed the flyfishing department for a sporting goods store and their guide programs many years. In my spare time I taught flyfishing classes for schools and worked for guides on my days off. In 1993 I establish my guide and outfitter business Acton Anglers Inc Teaching FFF certified flyfishing classes and fly tying classes to my clients is special. Landing as many species of fish as possible on a fly rod has become a lifetime goal! Let's go fishing! |
